Matt and Brynn Wedding Invitation
Heart Association Poster
In one of my classes the teacher arranged to have a contest. We were all to create a poster that could be used for the American Heart Association Run Walk that was going to be held in Salt Lake City. I went through a few rough drafts and a few different ideas and the final concept that I came up with was the mosaic idea. I thought about when my Grandpa went through heart problems and the thing that got all of us through was the group of people. That was comprised of our family, friends, doctors, nurses, all hospital staff, etc. Without that group effort it would have been a lot harder to cope with. This inspired my thoughts for the design. The mosaic takes a bunch of different pieces of paper and combines them to make something beautiful. Much like in my grandpa's case all the different people made the coping possible. I won the contest. After all the work that I did, it felt wonderful. They used the design for the t-shirt and the poster was auctioned at a benefit.

Personal Logos

In school we had to do a variety of projects. For this particular project we were assigned to create a personal logo. I did this logo because my married last name is Peterson, but my maiden name is Adamson. I wanted to incorporate the two last names so I did a basic P, but it can also be interpreted as a A. The circles I chose because I am a very open, fun person and if I could choose one shape for me it would be a circle. Circles can be boring because they are round and require no lines, yet they can be very fun for the same reason. This is expressive in my personality because I am fun, yet very responsible and organized. I can look at a project and if it needs to be serious I can do that. If it needs elements of fun, I can do that too. Very versatile. Then next I chose blue in different tints and tones because blue is calming in certain tones and very fun and exciting in different tints. This color reflects my personality the best.

New Years Wishes Card 2
New Years Wishes Card
This is something that I just recently did. I was a little lazy for Christmas and didn't do cards. I thought that I could make some New Years cards instead because I didn't have the chance to do the Christmas cards. It was a fun project. Funny little side note is that this picture is from our wedding and in this moment Chad is a searchin for the garter. Ha!
